“This what the fuck I like to see,” Jayce boasted as he stood in front of one of the strippers he had hired for the night.

She was currently bent over, making her booty do ripples, like the waves in the ocean. He had a stack of ones in his pocket and in his hand, throwing it out like it was a worthless piece of paper.

The more dollar bills the stripper by the name of Star saw falling to the ground, the more tricks she pulled out. She walked seductively over to the custom pole that Jayce had put in his house just for tonight, grabbed a hold of it, and twirled around it before she began climbing it. The whole time, she never took her eyes off Jayce. She knew a nigga with money when she saw one, and she would be a damn fool to lose his attention.

While she worked the pole, Rose, Reese, and Harlow walked inside of the house.

“I thought you said this was a hood party. This doesn’t look like no hood party to me,” Reese stated.

“I’ve been here before with Blaze!” Rose blurted out, causing both of her friends to abruptly stop.

“Bitch, what! You left out that little part,” Reese told her.

“No, it wasn’t important. He had offered me a ride because it was raining then had to do a business run. That was it. That was all,” Rose let them know as she looked around looking for someone in particular.

The house didn’t look how she remembered it. It actually looked worth something, even though it was crowded with people. He had cleaned up and even decorated. Rose was stunned to say the least.

“Yeah. Okay. Let me find out.” Harlow side eyed her friend.

Rose had kind of missed telling her friends about riding with Blaze. It honestly had slipped her mind, just how she hadn’t told them about Walker and Blaze fighting because she decided to tell a lie. It just wasn’t that important enough to discuss. If they came to her about it, she would speak on it. Until then, she was letting all that bullshit go.

Rose rolled her eyes and said, “There is nothing to find out.”

They continued to walk throughout the house as the music blasted loudly as if they were at a club.

“Baby, I need to be over there on that pole, making that money, honey.” Reese pointed toward the strippers who were dancing.

He was mesmerized by all of the money that was being tossed in the air and falling like raindrops.

Rose turned and looked in the direction of where Reese was pointing. The money wasn’t what caught her attention. He did.

Jayce could feel someone staring at him, so he stopped throwing the money and turned around. Slowly putting the plastic cup up to his lips, he took a sip of the Hennessy straight as he scanned the room.

“Shit, who is that?” Reese asked as he stuck his index finger in between his teeth.

Jayce and Rose’s eyes connected. There was a spark there, the same feeling she felt when she first met him.
